Back to School: 3 Tips for First-Year Medical Students
Back to school is HERE!
While many are going back to school this fall, we know the decision between remote or in-person classes is creating uncertainty with many.
#TeamLandau member, @bondkitkat, just started her second year of medical school and provided a few tips for incoming first-year students.
1️⃣ Stay organized and consistent. Medical school builds on information from day one. Stay consistent in studying every day. One of my favorite apps to use is Anki. It is a virtual flashcards app.
2️⃣ Self-care. It is so easy to become fatigued or burnt out in medical school. Maintain a hobbit, sport, or other relaxing activities to help you unwind.
3️⃣ Network/socialize with your peers. Help each other and learn from each other. After all, we are in this together. No one else can understand you like the people who are with you along this journey!
Starting medical school is exciting, nerve-wracking and stressful, especially with the uncertainty a pandemic brings. Remember – take time to care for yourself and ENJOY the ride! One day you’ll look back and remember that year you started medical school (in the midst of a pandemic).
Landau is here to make sure when you go back to school, your scrubs are one less thing to worry about. Our ProFlex collection features easy to care for, two-way stretch fabric, ensuring you stay comfortable and looking professional ALL. DAY. LONG.
